General Summary of Duties: Operates clinic switchboard, provides routine information and directs calls to appropriate area.
Examples of Duties: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
- Channels all incoming calls and routes calls to appropriate departments.
- Responds to emergency calls according to established procedures.
- Communicates general clinic information.
- Organizes and efficiently handles switchboard material.
- Attends meetings as required.
- Maintains information in a confidential manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Six months switchboard experience preferably in a clinic setting. Computer experience desirable.
