LPN Dialysis Coordinator

The Dialysis Coordinator will work with the Nephrology physicians and assists in rounding on patients at various local Dialysis Centers; monitor the care of patients routine dialysis care; assist in the main office with patients; assist in scheduling appointments for new or established dialysis patients; perform patient vitals; IV infusion therapy; catheter placement/removal; coordination of Kidney transplant patients; follow up post surgical care; documentation of patient care plans; prepare EMR billing data; etc.  The goal is to ensure proficiency communicating with the providers and the Dialysis Centers for effective quality of care. 

The position requires strong clinical and critical thinking skills.  Must be able to multi-task in an extremely fast past office environment.  Must have strong Excel computer experience.  Must have experience with an Electronic Medical Record sytem.  Previous nursing experience, along with IV Certification is preferred.  

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, along with graduation from an accredited school of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  The position requires an active and clear State of Florida license to practice practical nursing.
