MRA Coder

Full time opportunity for an MRA Coder to work directly with physicians and their offices staff, to review medical records and clinical documentation in order to identify risk adjustment codes and quality gap closure opportunities The Coder will collect and review documents to support both quality and risk adjustment initiatives. The Coder will also make sure the diagnosis codes or each chronic or major medical condition has been captured and submitted within the appropriate time frame. 

Required Skills and Certification: High School Diploma or GED. Coding certification and working knowledge of ICD-10 

Preferred but not required skills: Experience with Medicare Risk Adjustment structures; Nextgen EMR system; and CMS compliance standards.
