Medical Assistant-Podiatry

Assists in the delivery of primary health care and management. Prepares patients for examination and treatment, takes patient histories and vital signs, prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary intstruments, may give injections and apply splints and dressings, assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries, physicials, etc., along with other related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program along with completion of a clinical externship.

A minimum of six months medical assisting experience preferred. Basic x-ray skills required. Strong customer service experience along with computer experience required.

Must be willing to travel to Sebring office location.
