Risk Manager

Under general direction, the Risk Manager prevents and/or investigates issues of actual and potential risk to the clinic, to patients, and to employee safety. The Risk Manager oversees and conducts root cause analyses, oversees development of corrective action plans, and follows through the implementation of the solution to closure of the case file. This position also oversees compliance with state and government regulatory standards. The Risk Manager reviews complaints about the quality of care, including clinical case review. Works closely with Administration to ensure comprehensive program delivery and quality patient care. Ensures that all departmental policies and procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications: RN Degree required

Five years in a medical care delivery organization. Three years of experience in peer review, quality assurance responsibility. Computer experience required.

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida, as well as, licensed/certified as a Certified Healthcare Risk Manager.

Certification in Quality Assurance preferred.
