Training Specialist - Nursing/Reception Trainer

The Training Specialist is responsible for the planning, developing, facilitating and evaluating nursing education/training and medical receptionist education/training.  The Training Specialist will work with all nursing, medical assistants and receptionists on customer service skills; telephone ettiquite; office protocols; EMR; OSHA; BioMedical Waste, etc.   The Trainer will also periodically provide nursing care and assist in the delivery of health care management for patients, as needed.  

The position will require strong clinical and critical thinking skills; the ability to multi-task in an extremely busy environment; the ability to work well under pressure; the ability to train personnel and provide excellent customer service skills to employees/patients.

The position requires High School Diploma or GED, along with graduation from an accredited school of nursing, possession of a Florida State Nursing license to practice practical nursing.  Experience with an electronic medical record system is required.  Previous nursing experience is required, along with IV certification is required.  Computer experience required.  Strong attention to detail; multitasking skills; strong customer service skills; the ability to train large groups of individuals, etc.
